We are dedicated to illuminating the history of the town of Stonington, located in the southeastern corner of Connecticut. Through our two museums and research library, we offer artifacts and records that reflect the lives and fortunes of Colonial Settlers, Native Americans, and African-American slaves. These fascinating individuals were blockade runners, ship captains, whale hunters, patriots, explorers, artists, gardeners, and writers. We encourage collaborations and conduct ongoing collection outreach activities.
