South of Cape Horn

Join the Granite Theatre and the Stonington Historical Society for a jump back in time. Relax and listen to a radio play, originally recorded and aired in 1949 by Mickey Rooney. “South of Cape Horn” was part of the Cavalcade of America series, and is based on the life of Captain Nathaniel Brown Palmer. The radio play details his fantastic voyage from Stonington to Antarctica in 1820, and what he found there.
