Sergeant Robert W. Card (1919-1994)

Robert was the son of Horace Card and Harriett Yost. He was drafted into the US Army during WWII. He was promoted to Technical Sergeant in 1941. Robert took part in the Battle for Luxemburg with Patton's 3rd Army in Belgium, the Rhine, Austria and Czechoslovakia. He was discharged in October, 1945. Robert married Virginia Goulart in Stonington on November 21, 1942.
