The Lighthouse Museum Project
In 2022, with generous support from donors and our community, Historic Stonington completed extensive renovations to the Lighthouse Museum. Significant improvements were made to the building’s structural integrity and environmental footprint including new climate controls, electrical systems, wiring, and barriers against moisture and insects.

- A portion of the whitewash applied to the exterior of the building in the 1880s, uncovered during the restoration, will be included in the Lighthouse Museum exhibit.
