This 4 inch square box was hand-painted by Stonington local artist Susan Scala. Part of a series depicting the historic sites of Stonington. This piece depicts both the Captain Nathaniel Palmer House and the Stonington Lighthouse in a light winter storm, while the Stonington Battle Flag and several sailboats adorn the sides of the box.
