One of a pair of onyx earrings that belonged to Na One of a pair of onyx earrings that belonged to Nancy Lord Palmer (1813-1897). Nancy was one of Captain Nathaniel Brown Palmer's younger sisters. She married Charles Thompson Stanton in 1836, and they went on to have eight children together, including two sets of twins. Abbie is a former sales and marketing executive in publishing who now works as a graphic designer and entrepreneur. She has collaborated with numerous local and national clients, including the Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Stonington Community Center, Fashion Daily Magazine, and Hachette Publishing.
