Serving Platter – Palmer House in Winter

Resting at 10 x 14.5 inches wide, this serving platter was hand-painted by Stonington local artist Susan Scala as part of a series depicting the historic sites of Stonington. This piece depicts both the Captain Nathaniel Palmer House in a light winter storm. The back side is adorned with small flower motifs and a brief description nodding to Captain Palmer’s accomplishments in Antarctica. This is lovely functional or decorative piece to show your love of Stonington history.
